I had a few questions which are probably really dumb and obvious!, but I thought I'd ask them anyway, though we probably already know the answers.
Firstly, when does the first player marker move? It doesn't explicitly say in the rules as to when and how it moves between rounds?
Secondly, does the ball carrier get his strength increased by two when he's about to be tackled? Or is this extra two strength just resolved in the scoreboard phase and has nothing to do with the strength of the player?
We thought a) the marker moves clockwise each subsequent round
And b) No, the ball doesn't add to a player's strength
You are correct on both counts. I think I remember it saying that it moves at the beginning of the round on the original sequence but then tells you to pass it at the end (sorry, I know it is there just don't feel like looking it up).
The ball says it adds to your star total during the calculation of at the end of the match-up. That is the only time it adds (besides breaking ties at the same time).
