Dear Irondie Players

long time i can't find time to post properly here and on Irondie site news, and i'm sure i will find some to let you know about our newest developments about new dice shapes and formats (from d4 to d20) and their scheduled release. Maybe some news on new products including a "special" miniature game, but this is another story.
Why this lack of comunication? very simple, we mainly focused on product dev, while some other guy should have taken care of comunication, demos and tournaments... seems we had a prob on this, we'll wipe the slate clean and restart.
In the future there will be more control on sales policy from distributors (we wanted a precious product with an affordable cost and still that's the goal) and surely there will be more dice released. In the beginning almost all dice won't have a specific IRONDIE GAME functions, but will be simply sold to play with your favorite boardgame, to make necklace, or to hurl in office-wars.
Some of you have seen some pics that we didn't won't to sell and display on site to give an edge to retailers: they have been supplied very limited qty of silver, copper, gold and brass plated dice, unfinished for paint contests and many others, including the brand ne d10s Ztark and Death. These were just limited, experimental production runs, but some of these will enter full production and made available to private, reatailers and ditributor alike very soon.
Next step will also be to start developing a tournament model, we'll need help from retailers and distributor for this, but we surely find a way to contribute to the efforts.

well, talk you soon, with more news.
best things to all

before designing a tournament model please rewrite the rules with less ambiguities. there seems to be a few discrepencies beteen comprehensive rules and compact rules and mothership posted rules.
it has made it very hard for us starting tournaments as every new player seems to have interpreted the rules a little differently. Some of the 'cheat' sheets available on the net (particularly here on boardgamegeek) are a lot more useful that the ones that come with the game. perhaps this is something that could be rectified with future releases...
