Okay, down to the final games on my ‘want list’ of which one is going to make it on my ‘to buy ‘ list.

All games are chit games.
All games are ACW games.
All have beautiful maps.
All have very attractive chits.
All seem, according to reviews, very worth while.
All are apparently very different.

Sigh….soblue

So which one to chose?

GLORY III [which is half the price of the other two, which no doubt somehow must show]
BATTLE OVER THE CLOUDS
DEAD OF WINTER

I find it very hard to decide.

Please give me some good reasons to pick one over the other.

BotC. If you go to MMP ( http://www.multimanpublishing.com/) and click on Support, Then GCACW, it takes you to http://www.gcacw.com/ where if you click on first link in center column (Jay Meyers' GCACW fan site) it takes you to here: http://www.wargamereplays.com/gcacw.html
There you see a Tutorial to help you learn
Do the others have that?

If by "chit games" you mean games where the units are activated by random chit draws, you should be aware that GCACW doesn't use that mechanic. In this series, the two players roll for the initiative at the start of every move. The winner then activates individual units or groups of units using a leader in order to move or start a battle.

Thanks guys,

With chit games I actually meant using chits, is there a better name to use?

I own WAR OF THE REBELLION, is this game anything like that?

What did you end up deciding? I would go this one all the way.

Well as things look now I may put this one on hold for now.
I.e. consider it for some later time.

It's a bit pricey over here, over 60 euros and I can buy Glory for 18, so I'm very temtped to give that one a go first.

Why I even have to consider Glory at that price.
Well the designer is the same one as the one who did WAR OF THE REBELION and he basically told me that game was no good.

So a little voice tells me, if that one wasn't who'd to tell you this one is and I'm not eager to waste money on games that may disappoint.
Nah who am I kidding, falling for the bargains every time.
