Hi!
I'd like to know how to use the Ares re-roll correctly? The rule 11.0 (page 12) states clearly that ALL attacks of one agility class are re-rolled. So I assume that you first roll for all units of the same agility class and only then you decide to re-roll for the whole class, or not, right?

Here's an example of the way the current rule works:
You have a Sacrifice to Ares available. You are rolling for your "C" attacks. Your first unit rolls well. Your 2nd unit rolls all 3's and 4's missing completely. You Appeal to Ares and re-roll that unit, scoring a Hit and a Rout. Your 3rd "C" unit rolls well. You keep that roll. Your 4th and last "C" unit also misses. You re-roll for that unit, but miss again. You remove your Sacrifice block for Ares.

Thank you for the answer, I understand. But the rule 11.0 states clearly that ALL attacks are re-rolled! So how can you make individual re-rolls as the wording of the rule is unambiguous?

I'm not sure that you'll get the designer to change his mind.

The rule states:
"Immediately re-roll all combat attacks of a Combat Round for one friendly or enemy Agility class." (p.16)
Maybe I am a little bit dull or my English skills are too limited, but if it is so clear to everyone, could please anyone explain me, how can I derive the method the designer just described from this phrase?

Your English parsing is correct, but the rules have been adapted in a few places since publication. I suspect that's why Craig said "the way the current rule works". (For what it's worth, this is mentioned in Hellenes FAQ.)

Yes, I was referring to the updated rules as posted on the GMT website under Hellenes/Updated rules (also as clarified in the FAQ Wiki).
I have been working on a further update, which includes additional rewrites for improved clarity. It should be finalized soon and posted on GMT.
That version maintains the same ARES implementation as described above.
The original method of redoing all the rolls for an entire agility class after the fact (ie removing all hits and routs scored by that class, then redoing all the rolls) is pretty awkward in practice.

In my opinioon the old rule was much more clear and practical: You could see the whole roll of one agility class at once and then decide, whether to re-roll it, or not.
It also suited much more for pbm. Does it mean that now you have to ask your opponent after each unit has fired whether to re-do the roll of the specific unit? This will turn larger battles into endless affairs!

The issue, I think, is that this isn't how combat works. You don't roll an agility class all at once. You have to roll one block at a time, because all hits and routs from one block are applied before the next block gets to fire. See this thread.
Due to the unique combat procedure in Hellenes, it would be difficult to remove all hits and routs after the fact.

"Endless"? It sounds like you are erroneously imagining that you could keep rerolling the same unit's roll over and over until you get the desired result on that unit's dice...? You can only reroll a given unit's roll once.
