Has anyone tried to make his own scenarios?
I'd like a scenario on the battle of Berlin.

There is a system in CC to generate scenarios I think?
Rapidly you can make one...the Russians are approaching Hitler's bunker...will they overcome the Germans defending it? If they do they gain access to the bunker and Hitler #$%? is brains off

I recommend you use the Random Scenario Generator, the one from CC Med if you have it. Instead of random determination, just declare
1945 Germans Vs Russians Line Vs Elite Pick a map which is very heavily built-up and orient it to your satisfaction.
Then pick forces based on the costs on the Orders of Battle sheets, spending more for the Russian force. Any points differential can be used by the German defender for special units from the German support table or from the fortifications list.
Finally, declare that one of the objectives in the rear of the German position is worth 5 points, and start the German victory point marker on '10'.
Give the initiative to whichever OB has higher initiative.
Use the surrender values from the OBs.
Have the Russians set up first and move first.
You should be good to go.

No, the scenario generator in CC:E is fine. It's just that the CC:M scenario generator was tweaked a bit from the one in CC:E and some prefer it to the one in CC:E.

Why is that?
All the differences boil down to that?

I am currently designing a scenario about the Merville battery and have reached the play testing stage. The scenario itself is a bit different from most other CC scenarios in that I have wanted a Merville scenario before I found CC so I have made CC fit the scenario rather than the scenario fit CC. The scenario requires a few minutes to generate on an Excel sheet to factor in all the random events that occurred. This may of course deter many gamers from attempting the scenario but initially it did start out with over 100 cards.
As mentioned before the excellent Random Scenario Generator probably stops any fan based scenarios from being created.

I think this would be a very interesting scenario. But line Germans vs elite soviets? I'm not sure that's right. The Germans were old men and children, and the soviets were drunk. Green vs green? Green vs line? I've not looked at orders of battle for both sides, but it'd be interesting to see how many leaders the Germans had. My guess is "few." And as discipline was so low for the Russians, I'd probably limit the amount of orders you can give to 1 or 2.

The OB of the Battle of Berlin scenario could be quite a toughie to make. German's made up of anything that is left, Marines, Hitler Youth, maybe some experienced soldiers too, defending their homeland will give them added incentive but perhaps they all knew it was a question of time anyway. Germans attempting to surrender to the American's rather then the Russians. High ranking personell making a break for it. Interesting stuff but not quite sure how to implement these ideas.

Put the pillbox in a centrally located building hex and declare it The Bunker. Put five unused markers or small coins in the hex. Remove one every time check. This reflects the suicides of the German High Command. Say +5 VP for every one the Russians can capture before they are all gone.
You could also reduce the German discard capability by 1 for each High Command Leader lost to simulate their deteriorating command capability.

The battle of Berlin wasn't all around "the bunker". It may have a part, but as one scenario of - hopefully - many to choose from.
I was frankly inspired by these scenarios here:

(I know some scenarios feature tanks, I have put them here to portray the "feeling" I'd like to add to the scenarios)

That could be a good idea, or otherwise putting Axis orders to 1 or max 2.

I make 'em all the time, there's two sat in my gallery right now.
If you send me a bunch of support material around the particular action you want to feature in the scenario I can probably bash one out pretty easily.
It's the research that takes all the time.
