I know the module exists, but is there too much back-and forth for PBEM?

I've done many games using VASSAL PBEM. There is not that much back and forth except for seizure decisions, as long as you are willing to let your opponent handle your Reaction Fire.
Most of the time your "turn" takes about 15 minutes to resolve before you pass the file back to your opponent, unlike an I-GO-YOU-GO with lots of counters.
