The subject says it all. Does anyone know of a record of max points with every single nation (not colour)? Just out of geeky statistical curiosity... Does someone collect statistical facts from games they have played?

There's a pdf in the files section which gives an outline of averages of the scores for each of the colors after the scoring phase. No maximums though.

I have never seen a list of maximum points. And I'm the designer. Not that it would be hard to compile.

Thanks for your replies.
It simply think it would be fun to know. (When I scored 50 VP with the Belgae I was quite surprised, although blue ended up at 166 in total.) Perhaps someone will collect some statistics about this in the future...

mayhap you could try yourself by checking out people's logged scores? though you would need to trawl through alot of data I suspect

It would be more or less impractical to calculate maximums for nations that get kill points. Do you assume they kill all the enemies that get them points? But how many might that be, given the possibility of Increase?

I have always felt that the maximum possible points is irrelevant since the point of the game is to get more points than your opponents in the end. The best games of Britannia for me personally have been somewhat low in points since people try to screw the other players over and attack teams with little point gain by itself. This is not a optimizing game.
Also, does it matter if Belgae make 50 points if Picts get wiped out from a Brigandite - Scottish alliance due to the fact that you have got way to many points with a low-point team. Always try to pretend that someone else is in the lead. Those huge points will kill you. I have played some games that Yellow wins due to the fact that their Romans took few points (80-100). Therefore everyone gives the Scots (The real "breaking" team for yellow) an easier time.
To answer the question: 50 points is alot - 20-25 is more reasonable. 30 is much as well. If I had done that with Belgae, I would have tried to keep a very low profile.
