We have the situation in a game that our Cylon Leader wants to infiltrate Galactica via the Human Fleet location. Now the question was for me if he is allowed in addition to use the "Look at the top card of the crises or destination deck ..." ability of the Human Fleet:

If I haven't made an error by transferring the card text from the card to my work sheet, he card text is written as:
Look at the top card of the crisis or destination deck and place it on the top or bottom of that deck. Then draw 2 skill cards of different types (may come from outside your skill set) or Infiltrate Galactica.
For me this clearly means that first the "scouting" happens and afterwards the CL draws either the 2 skill cards or infiltrates.

But I have also looked up three other PBF BSG games and they all played it that a CL who infiltrates is not allowed to use the "scouting" of the Human Fleet on this turn.

Where is my mistake?

Your mistake is that that's not just an "or" - that's a big "OR".

OR
If there was enough room, I would've written it as....
Scout and then draw 2 cards
OR
Infiltrate Galactica

Alas, it sounds like there isn't enough space on your card

Basically, it's not. In my version of the game it is an "or", bold, but no capital letters and the period (.) is at the very edge of the print, meaning hard to see at all. Thus, very misleading!
And even if it was written like you stated, it could still be interpreted in both directions. There are some periods before so you would never know where the first part of the "OR" starts.

But with this thread it is clarified.
