It's not quite clear to me in the pictures: Does it comes with two of those, or do the pictures simply show different sides but only one comes in the box? I.e., for a 6 player game do I have to buy six of these?

You get ONE two-sided Kill-O-Meter.

I bought two, so each side in a combat has one. You don't really need one for every player...

Hm, so I guess I didn't quite understand what it is supposed to do. I thought that it should record each player's attack strength, so that each time you equip an item that gives a bonus you simply dial it to change it, and then players wouldn't need to recount everything or memorizing a number that tends to change often...
