Sorry for the late post, I just found out that the advertisement for the Munchkin portion of this event never got posted.
BC Comix in Fenton, MI will be hosting 2 tournaments on Saturday, November 19.
At 2pm is the Dominion tournament. Cost is $5. Pre-constructed scenarios will be used. We will do 3-4 swiss rounds, then a final round for the top 3-4 players (based on attendance). Anyone making the final round will get a prize of some sort. Stash, Envoy and Black Market promos will be available as prizes, as will be the Dominion treasure chest if we get more than 11 players. Prizes will go out in the form of store credit. BC has a very fun and casual Dominion crowd. While rules are enforced, we pride ourselves on fun play and sportsmanship first and foremost.
Following the Dominion event (we're putting it at 6pm) will be the Munchkin Axe Cop event. Cost is $5, and sadly all I know is that first place will get a free copy of Munchkin Axe Cop. All Munchkin items other than Axe Cop will be discounted by 10% for anyone playing in the event. There will be many Munchkin promos, something for everyone playing.
In addition to these two events, our board game club will welcome anyone wanting to game with us. Usual board game gatherings are Friday evenings around 6:30 and Saturday afternoon / evenings. We run multiple games, our current favorites being Ticket To Ride, Carcassone, Catan, Betrayal at House on the Hill, Dominion, Flux (Star, Zombie and Monty Python), and Ascension. Feel free to bring your own game if you wish to teach it to some new people.
