Is a concealed squad in the same hex as the Flak Gun revealed when the Flak Gun fires?

Without having the rules in front of me to check, I would say no the unit is not revealed. When a unit in the same hex activates a AT gun, that unit is not fatigued, surely saying that the firing unit does not actually fire itself, therefore the concealed unit would not be firing either.

When you fire the gun you have to get out of the sandbags.
When you get out of the sandbags you leave cover.
With no cover you are revealed.
You can't get out the sandbags and fire either, because thats a fire and move action.

The way my opponent and I agreed upon was that the concealed infantry unit located with the Flak Guns did not lose their concealment when firing the Flak Gun. This meant that the British had to move adjacent to the Flak Guns in order for the conealed infantry to be revealed. Needless to say the Flak Guns managed to destroy most of the British tanks and not enough time was left for the rest of the troops to make it to the Flak Guns. If only the Brits had Smoke to provide some kind of cover it may have been possible I don't know.
Hellfire Pass is a tough scenario for the Brits and with only 6 turns (I belive it was 6 turns)there is no room to Dilly Dally that's for sure.

OK Nolfke pretty clear there, but on page 8 of Fury And The Bear it says ''Squads that are in an entrenchment, (but not a pillbox or a trench), CAN be used to activate equipment in the same hex''

Two differnt expansions and they say the complete opposite to each other. I think an official explanation is required.

Fortunately, the official explanation is already available - See the "Days of the Fox" section of the Official FAQ v1.5:

Quote:
The following rules changes should be made for equipment:
• Equipment units in the same hex as at least 1 entrenchment gain +1 cover. Equipment units do not gain any cover from pillboxes in the same hex.
• Squads that are in an entrenchment (but not a pillbox) may be used to activate equipment in the same hex.

Which is the same wording as used in the Fury of the Bear expansion.

Slightly further in the same FAQ:

Quote:
Q: If a concealed squad is used to operate an anti-tank gun, is it revealed or does stay in hidden?
A: The concealed squad would stay hidden.

Which answers the original question as well!
