In the Roman Republic, I thought consuls couldn't succeed themselves. This is reflected even in the game Republic of Rome. That being the case, why are you allowed to have same consuls in succeeding years?
One of them was a Slytherin and he was probably the bravest man I ever knew.
If you read some of the histories of the 2nd Punic war, you will see instances of counsels being reelected, if that is the correct terms. Not often, but it did happen.
This means a total stinker like Varo can keep coming back to haunt the Romans. I love this game, but I wish that the "officer pool" had been expanded to include other historic personages.
