What do you have to "pay" when you cross a water gap and an Ikarus tile is on one side or even on both sides? What are they worth?

I got an official answer from Amigo!

"Ikarus tiles are never counted when calculating the costs to cross a gap. So costs are defined by the tiles next to the Ikarus tiles."

How straightforward can it be laugh

Thanks for asking, Robert. It may seem straightforward at first but what if this is the situation:

... 4 W I W 3 ... (W= water tile, I= Ikarus tile, 4= 4 tile etc.)
I want to cross this whole part, so I cross 2 gaps. The first gap costs 3 (or 4) the second gap costs 4 (or 3)?

Or even this situation:

... 4 W I W I W 3 ...

The 3 gaps cost 3 each?

Hey folks,

all examples are correct. :)

Ikarus tiles count as land, so the scenario in the bottom example indeed pictures 3 water gaps and all of them have the cost of 3.

Have fun,
Bernd
