Can someone explain me how to build the chest of the "Crusader"? I can't figure out how all that stuff attaches.

Looks like a Travis brick at the center with two Headlight bricks on either side. At the front there are two cheese slopes with a 1x1 tile on top of a 1x1 plate between them. And possibly a 1x3 plate holding it all together at the back.

You don't think there are symmetric cheese slopes on the back side of the torso, through some SNOT miracle?

I am pretty certain it is something like this.
I only did this quickly but I am sure these are the parts required for the torso section.
Sorry for the blurry photo!

Hey Shaun that's pretty neat, but that central row of three bricks that makes up the shoulders and neck base is three headlight bricks. The one for the neck creates a recessed area for the 1x1 round plate that makes up the neck to fit down into. Otherwise the neck would be too tall. That row of three is held together by one 1x3 plate in the front, and another in the back. That is if you plan to mount a backpack there, otherwise it is held together by one of these-

The crusader looks great with backpacks, so don't feel like you have to have one of those inverted slope parts.

There are many more shots of the crusaders on my brickshelf account than are posted here.
