In my copy of dixit 2 which I just received, about 1/3 of the cards are of a much thinner quality than the rest of the cards or those of dixit 1 and oddysey. Is this standard for the game?

Not at all.
All our Dixit cards are very high quality. I would take this up with the publisher.

I will send them an email. As it turns out, it was actually half of the cards (42) that were thin, but it only made up about 1/3 of the stack due to lack of thickness.

odd, I have my own copy as does my buddy, no problems at all with thin cardstock. Definitely contact the publisher.
