..but it seems that the operation, combat and surprise cards you get are more important than the unit cards and their position. Therefore strategy, planning and making the best of the qualities of the units etc seem secondary to the luck of the draw.
Don't get me wrong I really like this game, but I've decided to play it with a much more restricted card/prestige influence- it makes you much more careful over what units you get, how you use them, and the importance of the terrain.
Hey, it works for me! Currently having only half prestige for terrain, and hand limit is one operation, one surpise and one combat card, plus two units.
