Well, we played out first game a zigzag this morning. I got off to an agressive start and pushed Julia into a defensive mode through the whole game. After that strong start though things slowed down and, for a while, we were concerned that we had fallen into an endless tie--I move, she blocks, I move she blocks. But then, as hope and interest were fading, it became clear that I would win and Julia couldn't stop it. I made my final few moves and did win. We'll play a few more times and then maybe I'll post a review. Overall impressions are good, not great, but good. A nice abstract strategy game, very nice production quality.
