That's ok. That should give it the opportunity to get over 1000 orders

It was never scheduled for a January shipping slot. Before today's newsletter, the only timeframe that was given was "1st Quarter 2012".

Our little game will be overshadowed by the pale Protestant princess ascending her throne to be the new Queen of the cdgs. Very exciting though.

You mean Ed finally got Virgin Queen through? I haven't hear of him or his games for a while.... Yes I assume it will be on the both of ours play lists...

Edit: At least I think Virgin Queen has kept her media silence well... no mentions on its forums...

NOOOO! It should be my late christmas gift. And now I have to wait even more. Considering 4-8 weeks by mail - christmas gift in March (April?)... Close enough...

I gather from CSW that 1989 should ship at end of February. Great news!

I am looking forward to this one. not only does it seem to be a good game in its own right, but the fall of Communism in Eastern Europe is a natural subject for a geopolitical game system like this.

What was the first date? November 2011?
If they delay it one more time, I'll start to be really pissed off.

We're all anxious for it to arrive. The original delay was to fix some issues with game balance. The current delays are addressed in the most recent GMT Games news item found here:

http://www.gmtgames.com/news.aspx?showarticle=224

I don't think you'll need to worry about being pissed off.

Long waiting list and empty store shelves. We've created the ultimate simulation of communism!

Folks, it is still not as bad as it was in the communism! People had to wait for a new car for 4 years! Imagine that with this game!

Well, I would rather play the game than try communism in real life.

And I apologize if I sounded rude, but it's a long waiting. This game should be my Christmas gift, hopefully I will get it for next Christmas.

No, it is not final map. All the comments that were made on the Map were corrected. I don't know if Mark added the flags. That would be a nice touch.
