I've seen shops selling this promo, but it is available for generally less direct from Days of Wonder.

Mind you, the cost of postage for me came to $10 (in Canada though)

Postage costs us Aussies $15.41 - surely this is incorrect!

I walked into uncle's games and grabbed it for free. Just the cost of walking through the mall.
Honestly, I would be thinking of turning in these shops to the DOW people, let them deal with it. If I could, I would have asked for more, and mailed them to people needing it.

Yea, I bit the bullet and ordered from DoW because the shop near me was selling them for $16 bucks apiece. I was very dismayed at this. I mean, $5 I can accept, but 16!!! And they played it up to every customer too trying to encourage the purchase. Luckily I ended up with the necromancer's island last year from a different store, so I knew the deal.
I'm debating on whether I will take my business back there ever again.

I was able to pick this up from my regular shop for no cost at all.
Very cool and I appreciate it (especially as I see that other shops have been charging for it!)

Either find a real FLGS that you can trust or start buying online. If brick and mortar stores want to survive they can't do it by blatantly fleecing their customers--that's why we move to online retailers like Thoughthammer and Miniature Market who can offer deep discounts.

The text on the expansion is very clear:
"Promotional Expansion. Not for Resale."
My FLGS knew that I had previously bought copies of Small World and Underground, so just gave me a copy when I went in this afternoon.
