Just played this for the first time yesterday (so probably got lots wrong). I noticed that there were enough monster tiles to have them replenish completely every round, but apparently not enough room tiles.

Did I miss something? Is there a special rule for replacing the room tiles?

There should be exactly 24 monster tiles (12 grey, 12 gold, enough for 3 each season) and 16 room tiles (8 grey, 8 gold, enough for 2 each season).

IE, you should never run out of room tiles and need more, as Autumn of each year should use the last 2 tiles exactly.

Are you putting out 2 or 3 room tiles per season? There should only be 2, and yes, this means that if 3 people choose the "Build a Room" order, the person in the (I) position may not get anything, if the (III) and (II) people buy them both. Such is the risk of trying to get the "free" room.

My set has 16 room tiles, enough to put out two every season without needing to reuse any. If your set has less, you might be missing some. The rulebook should have a list of what they all are, you can check what you have against that.

Or did you accidentally put out 3 room tiles each season? It is an easy mistake to make as there are three slots, but only two rooms available.
