Already posted this one on CSW too:

During an "Augury" season, may units still engage opponent's units?
In other words, engaging does not necessarily imply an attack (if the opponent chooses to fortify) but what happens if the defender chooses not to ? So, I think it's not allowed but I'd like to have a confirmation.
