Since this seems to basically be the obligatory eurogame version of Arkham Horror, I assume the curve isn't as steep? I'm really looking forward to giving the game a try. It's a bit hard to find here in Taiwan but I'm confident I can figure something out. How long will it take me to teach my buddies how to play? Thanks!

Two quick read-throughs of the four pages of rules will have you going in no time. It's quite easy. A little coaching on the first couple of turns and you'll be set to go. I think I've only had a few minor rule questions since I started playing.

I definitely prefer this over Arkham Horror.

I read the rules last night, and skimmed them again before the game today. It was the first play for both of us, and I think we got every rule right, aside from where we placed the creatures in the first couple rounds. It's not simple, but it's not bad either.

I see you have played Elder Sign. After you have played WoS, it would be interesting to hear which of the two games is easier to learn (and any other comparisons you would like to make).
