There is a thread in the Warrior Knights board about AOC vs WK. I thought I would ask here to balance out the forum bias issue.

Specifics of why one prefers a game would be helpful.

I own both versions of WK, and also own AoC. I'll always play AoC over the other two. The new WK always seems to end just as it's really beginning. The original seemed to end just about the time your grandchildren were born. All three games have interesting mechanisms and are clever, fun entertainment. I really like the "so much to do, so little time" aspect of AoC. Choosing actions via the dice can be challenging. I enjoy how the 4 nations really feel different in play thanks to the individualized kingdom decks. It's difficult to get the "perfect" hand of supporting cards for battles, and I like the tension of pushing one's luck when taking a forced march to complete the conquest of a territory in AoC rather than playing it safe by waiting a turn for reinforcements. I think AoC crams a lot of "epic" into 3 hours. It really hits all the right notes for me.

I agree with all of the above comments about AoC, but I wouldn't cut WK so short. We really enjoy Warrior Knights, and if you need to add length to the game it isn't hard to do.

I would say WK is more diplomatic, and AoC is more confrontational.

Rather than have people double post to 'balance it out', it would make better sense to use the Recommendations Forum in the first place. That's what it's there for.

I 've just learned the existance of the Recommendations Forum from your post, although i am a member of the BGG for 1 and a half year now. Actually i prefer this kind of dilemmas to be posted in the games page such as this rather on a massive catalog, its strictly a matter of opinion, what suits you best.
