hello guys

i have some questions during playing the game

Firstly,

When, 'High Hopes' used as an event,

if Kennedy player reveal the card of Nixon,

just discard that? or place that card back to the deck?

Second,

When, 'compact of 5th avenue' used as an event and there are

more than 4 support cubes of Kennedy on NY and there are no media cube

on East.

then, Nixon player has to do the support check?

or he can just remove two Kennedy's cubes because of the Media cube

which is formed owing to the event?

I'm afraid you guys can't understand my questions....

anyway please answer those questions thanks

An Nixon card revealed from High hopes would be but in the discard pile. Any Kennedy or neutral events are executed and then put in the discard pile or removed from play if it is a one time event.

I don't have the text of 'compact with 5th avenue' in front of me but as a general principle you don't do support checks when removing support due to an event. If the card says add 2 support to New York you would remove 2 of Nixon's support even if Nixon has 4 or more, controls the media and is in the state. You only do support checks when spending cp for campaigning.
