My favourite game is actually Eclipse.

Some depth and still not too long to play.

In the confusion and the aftermath you are my signal fire. Hold me close, 'cause I need you to guide me to safety. The only resolution and the only joy is the faint spark of forgiveness in your eyes, I don't want to wait forever...

Currently A Few Acres of Snow, Agricola. I really enjoyed my one play of Belfort but still too early to tell if it's a fave.

Tobago is my wife's favorite, and Battlestar Galactica is another of my older daughters favs. In fact, we traded Zooloretto for it because she found it to be to easy and somewhat boring.

Oh, and she loves being a cylon.

Agreed! Lisa and I still get it out sometimes for 2p.

I am excited to start playing this more in the new year as well.

That reminds me I will bring San Juan the next time I am over for games.

Jaipur, Ticket to Ride: Nordic Countries and Dixit!

+1 for Ticket and Dixit!

Also - BSG, Trollhalla, Onirim, Dragonheart...

Ooh, there it is. I have a few friends who have just finished watching the entire BSG and now can't wait for our next game of Battlestar Galactica. I'd like to try the expansions but they seem a little pricey.

Currently have only the base game, would like to try Exodus with its traumas, but not so much as to buy it. Would be really nice if we could meet one day for a game

My Grandpa was Ukranian. I wonder if I have relatives over there.

Whoa! That's the news!

Ha! Kochanowicz, hows that for a Ukranian name?

Sound like our local Chernivtsi Jew

I wonder.. Grandma is very hush hush about Grandpa's past. There's a story there waiting to be told.

Anyway, relatives or not, if you ever have the chance, grab wifey and kids and come to visit!

I would like to try Le Havre, is it as fiddly as Agricola?

I would also like to try Twilight Struggle. It's funny that people say the rules are pretty easy for a wargame, and then there is a huge addendum of rules clarifications that can be found around here.

May not be the best game for me.

I'd say Taluva if I hadn't left it in the States while I'm in England.

Of the games I have here (all 20 or so of them), I'd have to go with Tag 6.

Edit: After reading Svetlana's, I'll have to add Dixit as well. I did bring it and all the expansions.

Much less fidily IMO, that is the main reason I like it more.

Also, TS is not really a wargame even though it is about wartime. I think it falls much closer to a euro. Most of those clarifications are not so much about the game rules but about specific cards and what they actually do (there are about 100 different cards)

I just want to say, God, on behalf of all of us thank you for all of the good things we do in your name, like charity and forgiveness. That’s an idea we would never come up with. That’s for sure. You know that better than anybody.

What is so great about Civ? What's your favoritest part??

The interaction between players - although this applies to most games but Runewars and Civ are the two main games our group has played in 2011.
