I don't think it's possible to win that one

The only way to win is not to play.

Me too, just had my first game of the legendary Asia map and loved it! Can't wait for India! I've already been browsing the user made variants trying to decide if I should go through with try to print a few of them out.

We went through that phase. It started to feel a little like work after a while to me, my friends loved it so much they went out and got the other versions.

"like work"? like working on the railroad LOL
I can see that, but once you complete that LONG run it just feels so GOOD
I have 3 plus the 1910 expansion and will be getting everything available
(besides Switzerland, I'll just get the 2 sided board with it)

I think I just had a tough month back then with life stress when they were really amped about the game. For some reason it didn't take for me. But like I said they were all gaga about it. I may have to give it another try sometimes soon.

I finally got my hands on Kingdom Builder Friday. We got in 3 plays of it. It is better than I thought it would be after the first read of the rules. Kind of a good little twist on Through the Desert.

Sequence is a game that I came across maybe 20 years ago. Found it again, about a year ago, and have recommended it to two other families, where it has rocketed to their #1 family game.

Like it!

I think my aunt has that up in her cabin. I've always meant to give it a try. Actually, now that I think of it, a resource teacher in my school keeps a copy in her classroom. Hmm.
