My wife and I recently adopted two wonderful children from Colombia. They are six and seven years old. I've purchased Animal Upon Animal for them as a Christmas gift. The problem is, the children as yet understand very little English, and while my wife and I each speak some Spanish, it's not quite up to the task of giving a clear rules explanation. I could just read them the Spanish rules from the rulebook, but they would probably tune out before the end. I could also try writing my own script, so I could work out the proper wording beforehand. But I thought it would be worth a shot to see if there's someone in the BGG community who is fluent in Spanish and familiar with the game, who would be willing to prepare a short script for teaching the game in Spanish. Keep in mind, also, that our kids have very little experience with boardgames (as far as we can tell). They have a fair grasp of the concept of taking turns, but that's about it. So keep the explanation simple!
If you write a suitable script, and I use it, I'll give you 50 .
I would also like scripts for Igel Ärgern and Tante Tarantel.

Hi,
Do you have spanish rules, I supposse, so... do you need a suitable script for rules or alternative rules for this game? It´s really simple.
Did you look at the Animal Bgg´s page?

1.- Tira el dado (roll the die)
2.- Si sale , pon un animal sobre el cocodrilo (If it's 1, put an animal on the croc)
If it's 2, put two animals on the croc)
4.- si sale el cocodrilo, pon un animal al lado del cocodrilo (If it's the croc, put an animal next to it)
If it's the hand, give one of your animals to another player who has to put it over the croc)
If it's the question mark, the other players will pick one of your animals and you'll have to put it on the croc)
(If any animals fall off the croc when you try to put one more, you'll keep two of them and discard the others)
(If you put your last animal on the croc and you have no animals left, you won!)

Laurence, have you tried Google Translate? You can write Santi's instructions and Google read it aloud for your kids.
Merry Christmas!!! Feliz Navidad!!!
