It does not happen very often, but if you don't have a copy of Ted Alspach's "Tie Breaker", then I would recommend that the tied player who ate the least amount of slices wins. That person took more risk and should be rewarded for doing so IMO (and a belly full of pie is enough reward for the other player, right?).

Thanks, I had a tie happen on my 8th play of the game and was wondering how to handle it.
