What does the number in the clock at the top right corner of the researcher card represent? I can't seem to find mention of it in the rules.

The number in the clock at the top right of EVERY card is its cost, in weeks, to take it from the board into your hand.

Ok, so total cost for a card is Number of steps to move to a location (could be 0, if the card you're already on the location of the card you want) + cost indicated in the upper right corner of the card?
