How does the game tsake to play with the smaller point armies? I am looking for a fairly quick game - 30-60 minutes or so. Wondering if this fits. Thanks!

With smaller armies, for instance the ones you get in the starter decks, you'll play under, more or less, 30 minutes.
One advice: download the excel sheets that make army building faster.

Even with 2000 point armies it only takes about an hour, and with the larger game you have more variety of units.
