Question re: which cards for quest reward | Shadows over Camelot

Hi,
A quick question to see how others do this part of the game. I played this yesterday, there were three nights on the grail quest as it was completed. This meant that 3 nights had to share 7 cards.

1) are these shared face up so each night can see/pick what is best for them?

2) how do you share the odd cards?

1) As per the rules, when more than one knight completes a quest, the cards are drawn face-up and shared by all the knights.

2) They are not required to be distributed equally (p. 4 of the quest book), and if no agreement can be reached, the cards are shuffled, and distributed to the knights, one at a time, beginning with the knight who completed the quest.
