NOISELESS, patient spider,
I mark'd, where, on a little promontory, it stood, isolated; Mark'd how, to explore the vacant, vast surrounding, It launch'd forth filament, filament, filament, out of itself; Ever unreeling them--ever tirelessly speeding them. And you, O my Soul, where you stand, Surrounded, surrounded, in measureless oceans of space, Ceaselessly musing, venturing, throwing,--seeking the spheres, to connect them; Till the bridge you will need, be form'd--till the ductile anchor hold; Till the gossamer thread you fling, catch somewhere, O my Soul. -walt whitman
I will have a board update in about an hour.

Lord Godalming will move to Galatz, and draw one event card.

You can only draw an event in a small city, but that is fine now. We should be drawing them.

Not a big deal here, but rather than deleting stuff, simply just use the strikethrough, that way everything remains posted so that there's never a question as to what information was conveyed to the other hunters. Like I said, not a big deal here, and I say this only because you're a fresh face in PBFs!

Despite its proximity to the castle, Galatz is clear of the fiends trail, though not clear of his influence. An event is drawn for Count Dracula.

Dr. Sewards train roll 1fodt = 0 = 0
Dr. Seward checks the well-tuned clock on the wall and it continues to turn. Hour by hour it goes by and no trains in sight.
Dr. Seward decides to remain in Milan. There he finds an item of use and draws an event.

Clipping from the News of the World, dated 1898
Cadaver Attacked by Respected Academic
Panic was spread amongst students of medicine at the University of Madrid last week during a surprise lecture by respected Dutch physician Prof. Abraham Van Helsing. Prof. Helsing agreed to perform a dissection for the young men whilst traveling in the region, but a strange turn of events led to the elderly scholar attacking the cadaver with a sharpened length of wood and piercing the heart several times. One of the stunned students reported that 'he revealed the corpse's heart and began talking nonsense about the ability of a man to survive after the heart has stopped, but transfixing with a stake will be sure to finish him. The audience was most dismayed and some even fled the theatre'. Van Helsing was asked to leave the grounds of the University and was seen heading towards the markets espousing the virtues of Spanish garlic.
Van Helsing moves by road to Madrid and draws an item and event.

Will move to London and draw an Item.
I think I'd pass on items now if everyone agrees? Or should I draw anyway? Guys?
-
-
You mean events? We should all definitely be drawing events now. He's definitely moved, so Newspaper Reports are desirable. Plus he has 3 cards now, so we may force early discards!
-
-
Two events are necessary and remember - additional draws!

With its sharp bite and thin paper husk Professor Van Helsing keeps his eye open for garlic creeping up through the dead of winter. When he arrives in Madrid he keeps the item he found to himself however, though some have lined the road to see the crazy man ride from Lisbon. He is somewhat worried that Lady Fate is aligning against them and an event is drawn.
I am voiding the bold order of Mina Harker. Mina, please confirm what it is you would like to do as there is confusion in your post and objections from the other hunters.

My apologies for the poor post. I meant to draw an event, not an item.
I was asking opinions on whether to draw or not further items for now, since I am already maxed out. guys?
-
-
I think your #2 item is not essential, so I think drawing an item would not be so bad. I would draw 2 events, though! Dracula, rather surprisingly, has a full hand and we have barely any!

Mina: Please bold your entire order and any and all draws you would like. Sorry to be so firm, but it's the most fair way I think.
-
-
2 events and an item will be just right.
Your best item set would be - Crucifix (may be rifle, but suboptimal)/Pistol/ Knife (or Stake). 'Till you have it, you should almost always draw item, sometimes 2, I think.

Not a problem at all, I just didn't because I wanted opinions before deciding on the definite action.
Move to London by road, draw 2 events and 1 item
Thanks guys.

Okay, excellent. Discussion is highly encouraged.
Mina arrives in London finding no sign of the count. However, she has made plans for an event later. And as she is shopping two men chase her down calling her by name. "Mina Mina, we are back with news!"
In addition to her event (Keep), Mina has also drawn Hired Scouts (Play Immediately). Please select the two locations the scouts have looked into.
