Unfortunately, the second edition rules for Cambria were a bit unclear in places. There is a FAQ covering all the questions about the rules posted on the geek so far, available for download in the files section. Please check this first if you have rules question. I will be updating this file as needed. You can still download the first edition rules from BGG, and these are perfectly valid for use with the second edition. GladBr also just uploaded a very cool original roll guide for Cambria that you might find handy.

Hi Eric, I've just read your rules clarification that states that the boat can be claimed on a roll of "1 plus another number". That means I need to fix the roll guide that I've submitted. By the way it also means that the "basic roll guide" on the board is off as well (or at least unclear on the boat options).

It would also mean both sets of rule books are wrong on this issue, as, like the board, it seems to suggest that you only move warriors onto the boats when you roll snake eyes.

Yes, unfortunately I see how the boat rule is likely to be misread because of how the rules are ordered. I didn't spot the problem in the roll guide when I first looked at it. It is very cool, so please do revise it and put it back up.

The roll guides on the boards for Cambria and Hibernia weren't my idea(sigh). By the time I saw the game board art it was already being printed.

Good to know, thanks! I imagine this will mean the boats will get a lot more mileage.
