This site is amazing, I find myself wishing there was something like this for a lot of other hobbies.
Collection data base is awsome on the geek. All the forums, pictures, reviews, and videos. The ability to upload info into the data base really connects us to this site. This site is gold ( free gold ) I plan to donate soon.
Any chance of expanding in other areas possible?
What do you think fellow gamers/collectors.

AWSOME!
You guys are awsome.
I think the comic collecting community will love such a site. I think the increased users and donations will help out a lot.
Always continue to look to new horizons.
The way this site is run is perfect.
Keep up the good work!:)

How about bike geek? Scouring the web for what year my old raleigh is is coming up empty. This format may lend itself well to organizing all that info...

Don't know why you're asking in this thread, but anyway you can click advanced search at the top of the page and put a date range in for year published.

Great! I can't wait for a ComicBookGeek. Hit me up if you need any help or input setting that up, adding comics, or how to lay out the individual comic pages.

I would also second a ToyGeek or ActionFigureGeek addition.

For both Comics and Toys, I think the Direct Trading and Math Trades could be awesome.

I have been thinking that bgg should merge with comicbookdb.com. or vice vera...adding new comics to the database would be a fun job 50+ new comics a week.

This!

While I love comics, I don't have enough time and money to invest in a comic book collection, so I don't buy them (anymore). But action figures and minis of all kinds - hell yeah!

Very cool. I just asked some friends a few weeks ago if there is anything out for logging books and discussions similar to BGG and the best I could find was GoodReads. While it is ok, I feel a BGG treatment for books would be better. Are these new sites going to be timed with the release of the new BGG interface?

If you are looking for bookwormgeek, I recommend http://www.librarything.com/. Some people also use that for their comics, but I find it not quite up to the task for my collection. A comics-specific cataloging and social site on the geek model would be great.

No official news. I know there's a redesign of this site coming. Maybe after that? (comic, and book geek)

Unfortunately it comes with a flash-UI. You have to manually move the pieces together with your mouse first to build the site interface before you can navigate it, as with real Legos.whistle

ASL ... yes, this is my Desert Island Game. If I have to give up all my 3000+ games and only allowed to keep one, this would be it. This bloody game stood the test of time. Around for more than 25 years - simply the best.

Why? I actually think it would be very easy to beat IMDB. One thing they do that really annoys me is they delete old threads. Just not doing that would be enough to beat IMDB!
