Hi All,

Just finished reading the rules and some clarifications:

- In the 2nd, 3rd and 4th round when a player draws 2 demand tiles of the same denomination (E.g. 4&4 or 2&2 etc), my understanding is one goes to the mass market and the other to the mid-market...correct?
- In the executive decision section of the board where we place the factory shut down tile- should we replenish that if someone has decided to shut down using the tile there or one tile for the whole game?
- The lower value of car's sale price is used only when a discount/advertisement marker is used right, else it is the higher value?
The discount/advertisement markers is for the entire cycle of sale and not just 1-is-1 sale i.e. say I had 2 discount markers and 1 advertisement marker- I can sell all the cars in that production house (3 at a time) in order till the demand exhausts and not just 3 cars in the 1st flush and one car when we go around again?
- How do you keep track of the shutdown markers as to which belongs to which player if there are many and for the rest of the turns?
- As I've not played not sure if this could happen- Could there be a situation where a person might go bankrupt? And is Elimination a possibility in this game?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Best,
Madhu

- That's correct - the two tiles always go different places, even if they're the same.

- There's one executive decision shut down marker each turn.

- Only discount marker causes the lower price. The advertising marker does not (which is why it costs R&D cubes). And yes, they last the whole selling cycle.

-I've not seen it come close to bankruptcy. Don't forget you get cash back when you shut down factories. I suppose it's plausible, but it seems like you'd have to be trying to do it to make it happen.

And if you never have, you should. These things are fun and fun is good.

Yes, bankruptcy would be really rare.

If you had a turn where you spent all your cash, didn't produce any cars, had already taken both loans and THEN took a bunch of loss cubes at the end of the turn, I suppose you could be bankrupt. If that happened, this isn't your game.

Correct.

Yes.

Only if there is a discount marker - discount then applies to all cars on that space.

With 3 markers, the space would sell 4 cars each time around.

It doesn't matter - once a space is shut down, it belongs to no one.
