Rulebook page 3 said: "If a Wound is assigned to the Militia Marker, remove it from the board".
This is correct, and is the answer to the OP's question.
Quote:
On page 19: "Attacking the Hunting Party:
When the Villain attacks, it must roll one of its Fight Dice specifically against each of the Town Elders in the Hunting Party; its remaining Fight Dice then target the Hero. "
Not relevant, because Militia is NOT considered a town elder.
Quote:
On page 21 Coop Fight:" The Villain only targets Town Elders in the Hunting Party when attacking the Hero they are assigned to (Militia are never targeted separately)".
So whenever a Minion or Villain attacks a Militia standing alone: All attack dice will be used against the Militia.
Whenever the attack is against Militia accompanying a hero: reserve one attack dice for the militia before rolling the attack of the evil.
This part is not right. Enemies never attack Militia that is standing alone. Also, the villain does not reserve dice for the militia, only for Town Elders.
Quote:
When the militia is hit by the attack it will be removed from the board immediately - except the hero has any card to prevent the wound done to the militia.
Not exactly -- when the hero is hit, the player can choose to assign one of the wounds to the militia. It is the player's choice only, nobody can make you assign damage to the militia. If you do it, then the militia is discarded. However, you might prefer to take the wound yourself in order to keep the +1 Combat from the militia.
