I have 11 unopened boxes of Magic: The Gathering booster boxes. I've been looking at CSI and have purchased from them before, but I was wondering who the best places are to sell MTG boxes.
Recommendations?

It sounds like you want to sell your unopened booster boxes, is that correct?

List them here I bet some people would be interested. No retailer is going to give even close to what individuals would. Ebay would be a better option than a retailer. They might give you half of what someone else would offer.

Honestly DON'T sell to a shop. You won't get best price, esp if they are sought after older sets. Which sets are you talking about, and we can give you a general "going rate" to expect. Ebay is another great place to sell. You might not get best price, but you will get better than selling to CSI or T&T that's for sure.

I've considered listing them here...it is where I've been listing a lot of my unplayed board games, but I'd like to get rid of them soon (new baby, extra bills to pay) and not go through a lot of work to ship them (especially if they're going one at a time). I also don't have the foggiest what they're worth...just what CSI would buy them for.
I have: - Eventide - Dissenssion - Morningtide - One each of the Kamigawa block (Saviors, Champions, Betrayers) - Shadowmoor - Guildpact - Lorwyn - Ravinica - Fifth Dawn

Lorwyn and Ravnica boxes should be easily $200 each (a Rav box closed at $300 on eBay not long ago), with Dissension and Guildpact close behind. The others are mostly closer to retail (~$120), with the Kamigawa ones less than that.
I'd be interested in the Dissension and Morningtide boxes myself.

I bought boxes of Kamigawa stuff for like $45 a piece when I got back in the game and didn't realize how bad they were. I would not expect to get much for those.

Except maybe Champions of Kamigawa since it could be loaded up with Sensei's Divining Top.

Actually, not so much. CHK was a very large set. I've opened 2-3 boxes of that set and in total only opened 2 Tops. It's a bad set as a whole, but there are plenty of fantastic playable rares and EDH bait worth opening a box for. Also, Modern is hitting big time, some surprisingly popular choice cards from that set.
Top, the 5 dragons, Gifts Ungiven, Meloku, Godu, Tatsumatsa, Sakura Tribe Elder, Kodama of the North Tree, Peer Through Depths, Ghostly Prison, Hinder, Time of Need, Boseiju, Glimpse of Nature, Cranial Extraction, Isumaru, Myojins, Heartbeat of Spring, Journeyer's Kite, Through the Breach, Night of SOul's Betrayel, Time Stop, Telling Time...
Saviors however... THAT is not worth the cardboard it's printed on. Twincast, Enduring Ideal, Pithing Needle, and Kagemaro are the only good rares... and they are each buyable for a couple bucks each.
To the OP... sell your RAV/GP/DIS boxes now. The dual lands are fetching prices and demand now that will tank if they happen to reprint them within the next year (which is likely). If you wait, you won't be sitting on as much profit. Heck, put all three up at once. I'm sure there are folks out there who would LOVE the ability to draft Ravnica block with friends again.

Definitely. In fact, prices on GPT and DIS are already down from where they were a few months ago, right after Modern was officially announced. The duals are a huge driver of those prices. The only reason RAV is still so high is because of Dark Confidant - GPT and DIS don't have anything that rivals Bob.

OP, what kind of prices were you looking to get? You just might have some takers here!

CSI is offering:
Eventide - 95.00 Dissension - 120.00 Morningtide - 110.00 Champions/Kami - 120.00 Shadowmoor - 130.00 Betrayers/Kami - 110.00 Guildpact - 125.00 Saviors/Kami - 70.00 Lorwyn - 185.00 Ravinica - 210.00 Fifth Dawn - 115.00
I don't have a good sense of "value" for the sets except that Lorwyn and Ravinica should net closer to $500 together.

Online is always the best option for highest cash value, but I would recommend a good shop if you're looking to trade or something like that. Sometimes a good trade is better than cash, depends on the shop too. Just putting it out there, of course a shop will give you less cash but a good trade can be good for both sides.
