I present to you a picture of the income/turn/shares/locomotive track from a game we played on an Age of Steam expansion map this weekend:

Your task is to identify the map we were playing based on this information. A Two* shiny awaits the person who can correctly do so.**

Go!

*Thanks to a generous donation from another player in the game.

Just because I own a billion AoS expansions doesn't mean I've played any of them!

I've never played nor do I own an AoS map that plays 4p in 3 rounds.

No, no, this isn't the end of the game, just a shot of those tracks at that moment in the game. Standard game-length rules applied to this game.

Given the high number of shares issued and the low income levels, perhaps Age of Steam Expansion: Sun / London?

If it were, they'd be using the custom income/share tracks that come with those maps (also because those maps use non-standard share limits and Links).

This is a very good guess, and your head is in the right place. But that is incorrect.

Yeah, I thought about JC's point immediately after posting. In that case, Age of Steam Expansion: The Moon.

The only map where I remember loan taking being quite that vigorous that early on (and the incomes so pathetic) was Northern California.

It was quite the fulfilling weekend with two games of AoS, two of Upon a Salty Ocean, two of A Few Acres of Snow, one of Indonesia, Eclipse, Brass, and, of course, a game of Le Boomb (among others). (Verkisto's count is slightly different, but mostly the same.)

I just wish that sated my desire to play that caliber of game...

I don't remember that one being quite so brutal but I think we played 3p; looks like a 4p play is in order.

More like 4p was nearly out of order... this was almost painful. And a great time.

(I was playing black...)
