I have finished by build of darthkaddens Merchant Of Venus. (At least the main game.) I've got it laid out for a practice game but i have one question I'm fuzzy on. How do you build/buy the deeds for spaceports factories?

The AH rulebook says "Deeds may be purchased only from the culture in which that spaceport or factory will be built and only while in that system."

So obviously the culture has to be discovered. I'm assuming you have to be landed at a surface city or space city to buy a deed for that system?

1 other question. The Nebula Habitat System, Multigeneration Ship System, and Asteroid System don't have planets with surface cities but odd looking Space Habitats. How are those 3 things treated? As Spaceports? Surface Cites? Or something else?

Thank You!

You have to be at the system's city/spaceport to buy the deed.

Space Cities act the same as surface cities except for movement: You don't need to spend extra movement points, you land as if it where a spaceport.

FWIW: I believe an open port in the system is also acceptable.

So far, no one has gotten it right.

The correct answer is anywhere you can legally trade:
- surface cities (on planets) or space cities (Cloud, Asteroid System, Interstellar biosphere, MG Ship)
- Open Ports
(Here is what was missed)
Spoiler (mouseover to reveal):
- previously purchased space ports.
