If you're looking for an excuse to play this, it looks like the Year of the Dragon is starting in a couple weeks.

Hopefully it'll be a bit less eventful than in the game!

I just purchased this because it's the year of the dragon. ... and also because I've been on a feld kick.

Looks like they never got rid of the board warping problems though.

Great Lindsey you just inspired me with new a argument for choosing In the year of the dragon for next gaming session. My group will have hard time resisting a special Year of the Dragon session.
Wonder if I can get through with it all over the year ... whistle

My board isn't warped. Great game. I'm not a huge fan of euros generally, but I love this one.

My wife was on the fence about learning a new game tonight until I mentioned the name - In the Year of the Dragon - at which point she chuckled and stated that today was the Chinese New Year and that it would be fitting if we played.

Whatever it takes - I am just happy to be playing Feld (and particularly this great title).

I just got lost in thought. It was unfamiliar territory.

Has anyone else noticed that not only is 2012 the Year of the Dragon, "In the Year of the Dragon" is number 12 in the Alea Big Box Series?!

I'm thinking about commissioning a microbadge with the mouseover text "I played 'In the Year of the Dragon' in the Year of the Dragon".

I want to get our copy to the table again sometime this year. It's been too long since we last played!

FYI - "I played In the Year of the Dragon in the year of the dragon" microbadge is now available for purchase.

Many thanks to gdapkus for creating it!
