We tried Red November with three players.
First player decided to grab items on his turn, but his events activated the Pressure Timed Destruction. Fortunately, one of us had stared with an Engine Manual and managed to get this problem solved right away.
A Missile Launch event came up soon after that and a number of fires started. My gnome ended up with several fire extinguishers and we did a Trade Items action to get several more. So I spent my actions putting out fires, while the other gnomes took care of the other problems that arose.
But, as we neared the end of the track and possible rescue, the Asphixiation event came up. And, for the last few turns, we had drawn a bunch of Hatch Blocked events and rolled the Oxygen Room for the location EVERY FREAKIN' TIME!!!!
Then a fire starts in the same room. We're rapidly running out of oxygen. We're out of fire extinguishers. We clear a hatch to get into the room and one gnome has a grog that will let him enter. But before his turn comes up, the Overheated event comes up and he guzzles his grog.
We're all sitting right next to the Destruction Event, about to cross over it and die horribly. Nobody has any equipment that will let him enter the room and put out the fire. There's no time left to get equipment and probably no time to fix the oxygen pumps even if we did get the fire out.
Well, I have an aqualung and I'm in a room with an escape hatch. But am I really evil enough to abandon my crewmates to a painful, choking death while I save myself?
Well, yes, I am. Out the hatch I go, reaching the surface safely. The other gnomes meet their horrible fates, giving me the victory.
Fun game. We thought, though, that it might have been fun to have a "heroic sacrifice" option in the rules, allowing a gnome to throw himself into the flames and attempt to fix the oxygen tanks before he dies during the update phase.

Moderators weren't doing their job, they should've caught it! If you email an Admin they can put it in the right category.
Good session report by the way.
