I have a friend who just don´t know how to lose, and when he´s drunk he starts to use this rule:
Player A is trying to buy a property from Player B, for lets say $400. In the middle of the transaction he interfears and say: "I pay you $300 for you not to sell." This way he prevents the player A of completing his lot, and player B gets some money and keeps his property. Or even cuts some transaction in the middle by calling a Player C to the trade!
It´s kinda strange, but it´s funny see him playing like this, that we let him do it. We even start to play with this rule! Adds something to those unending monopoly games! LOL
His nickname is "Lambda", and we have started to call this: "The Lambda Rule"
So what you guys think?
My best

The capitalist in me loves it. The gameplayer in me, not so much. How long is the boycott in effect? How do you enforce it? There's no court system in Monopoly, so you can't sue an opponent for breach of contract if he sells the property that you paid him not to sell. But if you can reconcile this problem, I think it's a decent house rule.

In fact we never considered this, but a court system could be funny! LOL!
