Dan,

Most games covering Normandy assign some kind of fortification or defensive combat bonus to the area of Carpiquet Airfield. In BfN the airfield is represented, but there is no defensive advantage assigned to the area. Can you tell me what your thoughts are concerning this area of the map?

Thanks

I chose to leave it up to the German player to defend there. It had a system of fortifications but was not heavily manned; they moved in an understrength company from 12ss who fought hard for it.

In the expansion game, there is a random events table that each side can roll against. One of the results includes the placement of an entrenchment in that hex.

Hey that is cool. Big fan of random events tables. I figured in my solo game I would use engineers to build a series of IP's around there.

Thanks for the quick reply.
