Another update of my ongoing solo game. Turn 8 was heavy rain again and turn 9 heavy overcast. Weather not cooperating with the allies thus far. As a result German reinforcements are arriving in a timely manner.
6th Airborne Bridgehead- healthy and expanding. Elements of 3rd Div and some commando's have reinforced. Major battle taking place at crossroads town of Troarn between German 346 ID and a mixed bag of units of 6th Airborne.
Birds-eye of Caen area- 3rd Candaian making some headway pushing back 21Pz and 716 ID NW of Caen. 3rd Div protecting approaches to bridge over canals.
Close up of Caen- right side of photo reveals advance elements of 7th Armor arriving in the area. Facing them is 12SS and some flak brigades.
Bayeau- 12SS and some flak units have arrived to reinforce 352nd ID as they slug it out with the 50th ID with 8the Armor Bde attached for Bayeau.
Birds-eye of Omaha Beach- 1st ID is spread thin. 29th ID is concentrating on Isigny.
The Big Red 1 faces off against Panzer Lehr. Two elite divisions will be going toe-to-toe.
29ID has taken 1 hex of Isigny and is trying to expand it's frontage.
101st Airborne Germans out of Carentan.They are trying to expand the Bridgehead.
Birds-eye of Utah Beach- Isigny and Carentan breached.
Birds-eye of Airborne sector on Contetin.
82nd Airborne under duress as they hold off two divisions, the 91st and 243rd.
101st Airborne hold the main highway, while 4th ID creeps up the coastal roads to engage 709 ID.
Allies actually had automatic victory conditions met. I have decided to keep playing to see how later turns go.

I appreciate it's solo but how long is it taking you to play? I sold this and bitterly regret it.

Compared to other monster games I've solo'd this doesn;t take much time once the invasion turn is done. The counter density is very manageable. I don;t really time myself when I play.
