Good analysis. I particularly like how this scenario gets the player to maneuver, but gives him a lot of troops and tremendous opportunities for major clashes. Sort of the best of both worlds. The terrain plays a huge role here--roads don't always go where you want them to go and there is always a danger of being caught against a mountain with no path for retreat. This is certainly one of my favorite scenarios in the entire system.
