This was a much bigger reference than the last time they were playing Settlers. They went so far as to say its name and give a one-liner about the purpose of the game. I would even say that Settlers was the B-story in this episode. That's a pretty big deal for any product, never mind a Euro game.
They even took the wood for sheep joke to the next level with "settlement erections."
