A quick question on this wonderful game. It concerns card "buying" (rumors or envoys) : if you have the right treasures can you buy in one go more tham one cards ?
In last night's game, I was loaded with treasures from a 2 turn successful run on clan houses but had not spentthem because I didn't want the rumors or envoys on display. The other players "bought" some and the end of turn procedure displayed new cards (filling up to 4 displayed cards). I was moving first and was able to buy 3 rumors as my first move. One fo the players said "no, no, you can only buy one card each time you go the pavillion"....

One action lets you "purchase" one envoy, one rumour, or one skill tile (using a card or getting it for free if you already have a skill of that type).

Playing the way you suggest would make going first extremely powerful, as you could remove pretty much all options from your opponent(s) besides drawing cards and attacking houses.

Thanks. That was quick. What you say is crystal clear, but I would have thought this is an additionnal strategic consideration... Nevertheless, we shall play as "one visit, one card". Thanks
