Just a simple question, is this game worth buying? Or will there be a reprint(4.edtion)soon?
Just curious because well Descent just got it's second edition, so are just wondering if it's worth picking up now or should I wait?

I think this is more than worthy, its a fantastic game if you like the theme and not matter about luck.
This edition is from 2010 and its most probabily that FFG announces an expansion than a 4th edition.

I own it, and am very pleased with my purchase (both because I love a good dungeon crawl, but especially because it's the best dungeon crawl when not entirely sober, where Descent can drag on).
I don't know how often you are up north, but if you are ever in the area I live in Virum and you are welcome to drop by and try the game.
Based on your ratings (Red November (8), Quarriors (9), Munchkin (9)) I would think you would enjoy the game, but as you also rate Dominion (9), Agricola (8) and Caylus (8) high, it is more difficult to say.

I don't know that there will be a 4th edition or not for a very long time.
Dungeonquest is a total luck fest but if you're OK with that, then yes, it's buy worthy.

Absolut worthy! What i like the most? The short rounds. Its true, you will die a lot in the dungeon. Because its a dangerous place and only true geeks dare to venture in the randomness. But after a few minutes all the other heroes are just as dead as you! Ready for the next round!
To compile a Highscorelist is a funny way of keeping track of your adventures in the dungeon and to remember those rare moments of success!
So i fully recommend Dungeon Quest!

I just picked it up and don't regret the purchase. The wife and I played 3 or 4 games and the other other night she asked if I wanted to play again. That means it was worth the money in my house.  I would think that an expansion would happen before an update.

Well I just found it cheap in a store near me. So I thought better be on the safe side
 I love a good dungeon crawl and I don't care if I die a lot

I truly hope for an expansion! Posted on the Fantasy Flight forum the other day asking for it. Seems nothing is in the pipes to date.

It's a good dungeon crawl if you don't have a lot of time on your hands. Gameplay can fall anywhere between everybody spending a couple of rounds trying to open a door, all the way to all the players dying in the treasure chamber at the same time. But, either way, you're guaranteed a race against the clock.
I don't see a fourth edition coming out anytime soon (at least FFG hasn't announced any intentions in that direction), but I wouldn't be surprised to see some expansions come out in the near future. It's up to you, in the end, but I thinks it pays for itself after playing it a few times.

most excellent game, love the whole theme and quality of the game
I'm not a fan of the combat cards, download the dice variant, makes it go much smoother in my oppinion ...
