The rules state that polder becomes available to build in the fifth round for three player game and sixth round for four player game. Is this an error? It seems to me that it should be the opposite because with four players the board will get clogged much faster than with three...making polder available a round later compounds this problem and makes the 4p experience substantially different rather than scaling it to play similarly with 3. Anyone know the answer to this? Thanks in advance.

I only play this with 3, so I don't know from experience, but your Q makes sense. Try contacting Alban directly, he answers quite promptly.

Half of the game has to be played with no polder

Thanks alban, that means the rulebook is in error. It says to make polder available in round 5 (out of 10) for 3 players and round 6 (out of 8) for four players.

Cool hopefully it will be caught by future players if they come to the geek. Great map by the way, lots of fun.

Not yet, but I have it and it's high on my list to play. The next time I get 4-5 together I'm going to play Madagascar. The moon will be after that!
