If so, one of them usually misses the dynamite.

Found it on the flying frog wiki

I guess it clarifies...

Q. I’ve played Old Betsy on a group of 4 Zombies. I’ve also got 3 Zombies looming up on me so I play Fire Extinguisher. All the Zombies get blown back. What happens to Old Betsy?
A. Only Zombies are affected by the Fire Extinguisher (Heroes and Old Betsy just stay where they are). Also remember that moving Zombies with the Fire Extinguisher is optional for the Hero on an individual basis (you could choose to NOT move the ones out of Old Betsy's space if you wanted to keep them pinned down).

Thanks for pulling up that FAQ. I think the FAQ diverges from the card as printed.

I agree. The card doesn't say you may move (thus making it optional) it says "move every" or something like that. But options are always good.
